About Ragnaroek

Ragnaroek is taken from our Norse mythology, it means "end of the world" or "dawning of the gods" (for the last battle). I have chosen this name, as sometimes, when looking at the world we are living in, I feel that it went wrong, and that it continues going the wrong way - towards destruction. Ragnaroek brings with it a time of destruction and chaos...but once everything is destroyed - there is room for a new, fresh start. And that is also what Ragnaroek stands for. Burn down the old to start anew!

What do I look for in a photo or what makes my photography? I am looking for new angles to look at things, I don´t like those old, well-trodden paths and I don´t like people who put themselves above others and are the so-called experts. I make my independent photography and try all sorts of styles - for which I receive mainly positive but also head-shaking comments. In my collection you will not find any anorectic, spotlessly clean top models or other "spotless", generic and sterile photography.

My specialties are car photography, composites and collages, landscape photography and animals. There are a few ingredients to my photos which I find  indispensable: MYSTIC - ECCENTRICITY - IMPACT - HONESTY



And last but not least I believe that every single human being with the adequate education and common sense can be a hero. That is why people in my photos have their heads up, they don´t crouch on the floor, they stand erect and heroic.
